I see photographs everwhere I go

From an early age, light fascinated me.  watching the way it came through the window, how it changed throughout the day.  From cool early winter morning light to the warm, hazy afternoon light that seemingly wrapped itself around you like a blanket.  I was enthralled by the moods that it created.  And I was compelled to capture both the light and, more importantly, the feelings it evoked.

Great images don’t just happen. Anticipating the moment is the key to getting the shot.  I thrive in any photographic challenge, be it brilliant sunlight, rain, snow, and all points in between I capture that defining image.  The one that connects with the viewer, the one that captures the moment, the one that tells the story.

the name be scene was created to combine both my love for movies and creative wordplay. i love to find seemingly unrelated connections in life. it was the slogan for alien that was the catalyst for the name - in space no one can hear you scream. it has so much depth. the slogan both told a compelling story and told you what to expect in the movie. with be scene innovative images added depth comes with the work - both in subject and emotions.
